Validation Parking Information
Validations allow for a company to purchase pre-paid discounted validation parking stickers or to set up a monthly invoiced validation account to pay for all or a portion of their patron’s parking.
Pre-paid Discounted Validation Stickers
This validation program is available to downtown Ann Arbor businesses only. Merchants often require the purchase of goods or services before agreeing to validate parking. Merchants can either purchase stickers that validate one hour (pink validation stickers) or two hours (green validation stickers) of parking.
Pre-paid Discounted Validation stickers are sold in bundles of 100 and can be purchased at the PCI Municipal Services Office located at 324 Maynard St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104.
Note: There is a two-hour max for discounted validations. The machines will not accept multiple validations for the same parking ticket.
Monthly Invoiced Validation Accounts
This validation program is designed for flexibility and allows for approved account holders to pay for their parker’s total parking fee. The account holder is then billed these fees plus a $0.25 fee per transaction at the end of the month.
Interested persons should call or email the PCI Municipal Office at 734-761-7235 or a2parkingadmin@municipalparking.com. Requests should be made 14 days prior to anticipated use and an initial deposit is required for all new accounts.
After setting up your account, account holders will be given uniquely coded validation stickers to pass out to their parking patrons. Blue Validation stickers are for ongoing accounts. Yellow Validation stickers are for special events and will only be accepted during a certain period.
Note: There is no discount offered with this program. The account holder will be responsible for the parker’s full parking fee plus a $0.25 fee per transaction.
