Experience the 55th annual Ann Arbor Hash Bash for history in the making. \nThe arrest and imprisonment of poet John Sinclair —for possession of two joints—set Ann Arbor on the trajectory as Michigan’s (and perhaps the country’s) most pioneering cannabis community. Sinclair’s arrest and 10-year sentence led to protests and rallies\, ultimately morphing into the iconic Hash Bash\, an annual protest-fueled gathering since 1972. \nVisitors often turn it into a full weekend experience: exploring Kerrytown shops\, dining downtown\, catching live music\, and soaking up that early-spring-in-Tree-Town energy.
